Clarksville Coming Out Week
A week-long celebration of National Coming Out Day
Clarksville, it’s time to come OUT and celebrate! 🌈
Join us October 5–11 for Clarksville Coming Out Week, a beautiful week dedicated to honoring, uplifting, and celebrating Clarksville’s LGBTQ+ community in recognition of National Coming Out Day.
National Coming Out Day brings awareness to LGBTQ+ civil rights while recognizing the power of living openly, safely, and authentically. Through education, support, storytelling, and community, Clarksville Coming Out Week will create spaces where queer people can feel seen, celebrated, supported, and proud of exactly who they are.
Throughout the week, we’ll come together for educational discussions, community conversations, film screenings, celebrations, and more—all leading up to one unforgettable finale: a Coming Out Party AND a wedding! Yes, you read that right… we’re closing out the week with a big fat gay wedding! 💍🌈
This is a week to be loud and proud of who you are, who you love, and how you live. Whether you’re out and proud, still discovering who you are, or simply looking for a community where you can feel at home, there is space for you here.
And to our allies: you’re invited too! Come learn, show your support, celebrate alongside us, and help make Clarksville a community where everyone has the freedom to live and love openly.
Come out. Be seen. Be proud. Celebrate love.

Our Big Fat Gay Wedding
This isn’t symbolic. This isn’t performative. This is a real wedding—with real vows, real love, and a real reception to celebrate it all.
In celebration of National Coming Out Day, we’re bringing couples together for a beautiful group wedding centered on love, commitment, authenticity, and chosen family.
Whether you’re ready to say “I do” or you’re already married and want to renew your vows, we invite you to be part of a celebration where you get to show up exactly as you are and love exactly who you love.
You bring the bouquet and boutonnieres—we’ll handle the rest. 💐
Couples will celebrate in a beautifully decorated venue with a legally authorized officiant, professional photographer, ceremony, and reception. Each couple will also be able to invite 2–4 guests, depending on the total number of couples who register, so the people who mean the most to you can be there to witness your moment.
And forget the rulebook. The only traditions are the ones you choose to create. There’s no one right way to look, dress, walk down an aisle, or celebrate your commitment.
Come as you are. Love out loud. Create traditions that belong to you.
